My family have been patients at American Eye Institute for many years. Dr. Barak Maguen is our outstanding Ophthalmologist in this practice. WIth state-of-the-art procedures and medication, he's kept my (potentially problematic) optic nerves miraculously healthy. My wife and I have been going to American Eye Institute for at least 25 years Dr. Ezra Maguen, has been our eye specialist for all of those years. He is absolutely the top in his profession!! We recently just had an appointment and got to meet his son Dr. Barack Maguen and the entire staff are just some amazing people so kind, Knowledgeable professional and accommodating!! I just showed up for my appointment and the office insisted that I sign an arbitration agreement to be seen, meaning that the patient waives any right to hold the doctor accountable in court if the doctor causes injury or is negligent. The laws in California already heavily favor doctors, and the Medical Board of California offers almost no recourse for patients, so requiring an arbitration agreement on top of that seems like the physicians at AEI cannot guarantee safety and professionalism.

Team and eye doctor in this office are excellent. They give great care and concern on your eye health. Always looking forward to going in to have a check. Highly recommended.

This is a very friendly office that doesn’t try to upsell you anything. Everyone who’s helped me here has been kind and trustworthy. Just because an office isn’t in Sunset boulevard it doesn’t mean it’s better..:
