Dr. Montoya performed my dad's cataract surgery on both eyes. We're all extremely happy with the services and attention my father received. The doctor, staff, and Maricruz (surgical coordinator) were extremely helpful. They're always so busy, but take their time with their examinations and explanations of procedures. They're attention to detail is noticed. Everyone definitely made the process easy and run smoothly. Definitely recommend this staff. They're all extremely knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at St. Lucia Eye Center, particularly from Luvia Morataya, the Authorization Coordinator. The entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and poorly handled. About a month ago, I received an authorization letter to see a specialist regarding a time-sensitive DMV form that needed to be completed. As many people know, it can take weeks or even months to get an appointment with an eye specialist, so I called immediately after receiving my authorization. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a medical office. I called ahead and was told I could come in as a walk-in at 9 AM, so I took time off work to be there. When I arrived, the front desk suddenly said walk-ins don’t start until 12 PM - completely contradicting what I was told on the phone. Because of their misinformation, I lost work hours for nothing. I had my second eye surgery less than 24 hours ago and I am already seeing 20/20 in that eye! So impressive and truly miraculous!
