The original Dr Newsom was the best, but now the practice has grown into a money making machine. I started about two years ago and Dr Newsom did the exam personally. His opinion was that i should get my cataracts done. I respected his opinion and started the process which involved many appointments over a period of months with additional charges at every visit not to mention the time spent driving an hour to and from each appointment. The surgery was eventually done and the result was WONDERFUL. One more post op appointment at which I was assured ...
The medical staff was great, the front desk with billing, and insurance is a totally different story. Make sure to get EVERYTHING in writing. They screwed us after we explained several times to them regarding our insurance. They then also sent it to the wrong insurance….calling and waiting for call backs lead to us being over 365 days to resolve this so the insurance can’t get corrected. Now we have to pay an insane amount of something we shouldn’t be paying that our VISION insurance should have paid for! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It’s sad ...
Such a lovely clean up-to-date clinic with friendly welcoming staff. Very pleased with the thorough exam and Dr. Cruz. I will definitely recommend this eye clinic!
I love every individual I came in contact with at Newsom Eye. Not only do they remember your name from the time they meet with you but also remember everything about you. That tells a lot about the type of people you are working with at Newsom Eye. They are professional and kind in every way. I would definitely recommend this establish and their amazing staff 100 times over. Thank you Newsom Eye for an amazing experience.
