Magruder Eye Institute

I accompanied my friend to her 11am appointment today so her doctor could explain her upcoming cataract surgery. She signed in at 10:45. After an hour, we checked "How much longer?" We were told "they're running behind today, but there're only three people ahead of you." My friend also learned that "lunchtime was at 12:45." Did that mean there'd be no one to help us? At 12:30, there wasn't any better news. I spoke to a couple who were sitting next to us for an appointment also. They'd been there an hour longer than we, so they were having a 2 1/2 hour ...

They took care of me quickly and everybody was friendly and caring. The place is nice and very clean. I felt comfortable and calm. I was a little worried because of my eyes exams but they explained me in detail every step and made me felt I was receiving there what I really needed. Dr Lehr is awesome! I will definitively keep going there to take care of my eyes condition!

The doctors are great! the waiting it is poor, waited about 2 hours. They didn't have the authorization for my insurance, they usually do this when you schedule your appointment, they forgot to pull my authorization, they did it while I waited there, which took another hour or so before they would even see me. Had I not ask to speak with a manager I probably would have been there all day, they forgot I was there. When they finally called me back to see the technician, after he finished, he sent me to another technician, the second technician told me to ...

Recently went for a 10:30 a.m. apt and waited 2 hours to be checked in. At that point I was told it would be 3.5 MORE hours before my apt. When I looked shocked, the receptionist suggested I reschedule, so I booked a 7:45 a.m. a few weeks later, which only took 2 hours total. Compared to 6 hours, I suppose that was speedy. I can't understand how this place is functioning. The doctor was great, and if you're referred here or must come here, I highly suggest a first thing in the morning appointment.

My 93 year old mom goes there and every single time they run late. Today we got in at 2:35 for a 2:45 appointment. She gave her name at the check in desk. We were not officially checked in until 3:30 PM which surprised me. The lady said that they were running at least an hour behind. I asked to be cognizant of my mom's age and of the patients time. If you get here 15 minutes late they cancel your appointment and also want to charge you. However they can be hours late since evidently they overbook their patients.
