The best place for eye care! I went in after having such a bad luck with two other places that told me that I won’t have my nearsightedness fixed with Lasik. Well, this place proved them wrong! After having to wear glasses or contacts for about 30 years I finally went it to have the surgery and a week later I can see! This office is so organized! “I had an extremely troubling experience at Eyecare Associates with (Dr. Jared Vincent) in Metairie. I went in for a small chalazion issue, instead of just giving me a local anesthetic and taking care of it then. He set it up for a later date at the surgery center, and it was clearly documented that only my left eye was to be treated. Keep in mind nothing was wrong with my right eye, except for the fact that I have rubbed it earlier this morning, and it was a little irritated. I called concerning an issue with my eye. The receptionist was excellent she made me an appointment for the next day and said I will try to get you in sooner. within a short amount of time she called back and had me appointment that day. I was seen by Dr centola. Outstanding excellent professional doctor. very attentive to my issues. Highly recommend her.
Only complaint is that my appointment was for 10:30 and I wasn’t called until 11:00. Once I was in the exam room everyone was great. Both Dr Centola and her assistant were very attentive and good at explaining things so they were worth the wait! Would recommend highly.
Most of the staff was very nice. Especially the doctor. Ultimately I had a negative experience. First, I used the link they sent me to fill out my new patient information only to have to repeat the process again on paper when I got there. If they need it on paper there’s no point to have me complete it online as well. Then they billed my medical insurance instead of my vision insurance causing my out of pocket expense to be higher. I did not ask or consent to them billing my medical insurance for my visit. The front employee desk got an attitude with me ...
Centola was very good! But the office was VERY SMALL AND IT WAS VERY CROWDED. People talking too loudly!! This was a suite in the back towards the left I think Suite 102 or 104 I don’t know it was just very small the only other time I had been there was up in the front and that was spread out and it was nice. Had to wait 45 minutes, what’s new. Drove from Covington so I don’t know if it’s worth my time to go back. If I can find someone over here just as good I’ll probably switch
