Thank you so much to Dr. Gabriels and the Syracuse team! The staff was tremendous - so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt so comfortable in trusting them with this procedure. The surgery itself is…weird. Not painful in any way but absolutely a nerve wrenching experience. The first few hours post-op were the worst but honestly not bad at all after that. Listen to the team’s instructions and you’ll be totally fine! I’m 3 days post op and have zero regrets. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you again for a wonderful experience!!
My experience has been absolutely amazing! I love that they explain everything and answer questions no matter how many times you ask them. They make sure you feel comfortable and at ease when the day comes to get it done. Definitely recommend to anyone who is tired of wearing glasses/contacts! Wish I did this earlier but glad I finally did it!!!
I recently had LASIK for monovision correction. I love the ability to see both far away and up close without needing glasses or contacts! The staff is so kind and supportive!! Okay I have to be honest as you should giving a review. I did give a 4 out of 5 and I will explain. The facility very clean and appeasing to the eye.staffing was very kind and understanding and tried to answer all my questions. As this is a very serious surgery and everyone who had it done spoke so highly to do it. Well I took the leap, but understand do your research first go in with questions because I had a severe panic once I read the consent forms. It’s absolutely scary and it’s your EYEs. The first consult was easy walk in they take you to 3 rooms ...
Two weeks after contacting the LASIK vision institute, i was given a free consultation and evaluation. After determining i was a good candidate we explored options and scheduling. Less than a week later i had the procedure done. It took less than ten minutes. I received a discount through my optical insurance which makes this a great decision long term since they guarantee touch ups if you ever need and are capable of one and no more glasses!
