This was my first meeting with Dr. Ryder, and was it under challenging circumstances. Dr. Ryder reached out to me, personally, during a visit to my primary care physician. Dr. Ryder offered to meet me that same day after regular hours where he provided me a thorough examination. He was very skillful and caring throughout our session. I would recommend Dr. Kevin Tomasko to anyone! He had to remove a cyst from my right eye. He was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to. He explained everything. Most importantly….. it didn’t hurt. The eye drop sting was like getting your eyes dilated; and the needle wasn’t bad at all (and I hate needles)! 🤣🤣🤣 The staff was so friendly as well. It was a great experience. I’m healing very well and I have a very small scab on my eye. You barely notice it. Great work!

I had a very disappointing experience with the contact lens representative. After seeing the doctor, I met with her to discuss my contact lens options. When I asked questions, she responded with a rude attitude, and some of my questions were not answered at all. At one point, she simply walked out of the room while I was still trying to understand my options. I found her behavior to be unprofessional and dismissive. Dr. Tomasko performs flawless work and has a wonderful bedside manner. I was referred to him by my eye doctor and couldn't be more pleased. if you are considering an eyelid procedure, look no further than Dr. Tomasko. He is incredible.

From the reception desk, to April, to Dr. Marc James to the check out, I was treated with exceptional care. I was not a current patient, and walked in concerned with a sudden change in my vision. I was worked in very quickly, examined throughly and diagnosed. . A follow up appointment has been scheduled, as a "just in case" with a retina doctor. The entire experience has made me a fan of Horizon Eye Care, and a patient going forward too.

Really impressed with Horizon Eye Huntersville (and I've been in healthcare administration for decades: not easily impressed). Had great, careful care by four people, including Dr. Bell within an hour and they were all smart, thorough, professional but human, and quick without my feeling rushed.
