I had a very positive experience at Metrolins for day surgery. From the moment I arrived, everything was well organized. I received my premedication on time and was taken care of attentively before the procedure. The staff were outstanding. I went on the website at 9-9:30 am. I checked for the earliest appointment available. I was able to go to the Matthews location that same afternoon. Everyone was very kind and professional. The technician and optometrist were very thorough and informative in that they addressed all of my concerns. I would definitely recommend Metrolina Eye Associates to anyone the next time they need an eye exam and new glasses.

At first it was great. Dr. Blotnick and Dr. Peterson are excellent. However, they are specialty doctors . My recent eye exams have been pretty below par especially considering I have had retina surgery with one of their retina specialist. However, he is no longer with Metrolina Eye. After my most recent experiences, I can see why. I had new lenses made for my glasses and they said they called to let me know they were in but no one left a message so I had no clue who called.
