Dr John Haines has been my ophthalmologist for just short of three decades. He is amazing! He has done both RK surgery (years ago) and most recently, cataract surgery. He is my most trusted member of the medical field. The Eye Center is remarkable, especially during these cataract surgeries. Exemplary! They create an atmosphere of professionalism and above and beyond care for their patients. I most highly recommend The Eye Center.
I was recommended to Dr. Brian Walker at The Eye Center by my dearest friend who sees him for all her eye care needs. Since he did her cataract surgery and had an outstanding experience and results, she thought I should look into him doing my Upper Blepharoplasty surgery. From my first call to walking in the office the staff is warm and welcoming and genuinely so. It was less than 3 minutes before I was called back and Dr. Walker walked in the room right behind. Dr. Walker did some testing, told me details of the procedure, and answered all my questions. ...
The staff makes having an appointment here a pleasure. They are always a delight to interact with. I greatly appreciate them coming to Florence! It makes life so much easier so I don't have to drive over the river and through the woods after having my eyes dilated.
Kindness abounds in this office. That’s not all though. They use the most up to date medical technology and each of the doctors’ skill is phenomenal. The staff is intelligent, well-informed, efficient and always friendly as well.
Dr Walker and his staff are very well trained. Everyone has a job to do and they do it very well. They are so polite. And so willing to help. I had a great experience going to do my other eye next week. I couldn't believe how fast Dr Walker does this. He's very good at his job. I highly recommend Dr Walker and his staff.
Dr Haines is unusually compassionate. I am legally blind in one eye and warned the nurse because I have been embarrassed by comments from others, but not from Dr Haines he is very understanding. I had read somewhere before that he has been overseas for years helping poverty-stricken people with eye problems. I had an appointment for severe dry eye. As it turns out it was a medicine I was taking that was causing the problem. I was taking Tylenol PM. I stopped taking it and within weeks I was much better. mj alpine or
