I'll start by saying the doctors seem competent. The service however leaves something to be desired. It's very slow. They don't answer the phone. If you're looking for a place where you can go, get your eye exam and then get your glasses all in one stop. This is not the place for you. They have a woman who works in the glasses section who supposedly is there once a week but is never there when they tell you she will be. I made the mistake of trusting them twice and went and took a little bit of time off of work to try to get some glasses and each time ...
Place was nice and staff was very helpful. Unfortunately we weren't able to go in and get our exam as they did not have room for my husband's wheelchair. Did send us to MAC, huge building across from Morgan's Wonderland and said that they have the equipment and room for wheelchairs as my husband is wheelchair bound. That was very kind of Eye Associates to refer us to MAC.
Very overbooked scheduling. I had an appointment at 2:05 and the doctor did not see me until after 3. Doctor was knowledgeable of my issue and listened and addressed questions well.
We scheduled my husband's appointment with Dr Burns WEEKS ago, at the Claussen Rd clinic, since he would not be at the clinic near our home until December. We received texts to confirm the appointment two days before the date. We arrived this morning and the receptionist handed my husband several pages of paperwork to complete. She did not ask him his name or which doctor he was seeing. 20 minutes later another patient enters, and she asked HIM which doctor he was to see. He said Dr Burns. The receptionist told him Dr Burns wouldn't be coming to that ...
Dr. D'Amore and Dr. Antunez are great. The office is not. I waited over 30 minutes while I watched 2 people be called within 5 to 10 minutes of getting there. I got a tech that was new and not being coached at the time. He couldn't get 1 machine to work. He couldn't get the eye pressure, and he touched the tip of the eye dilation drops to my eye. I told Dr. D'Amore and the receptionist who checked me out. They didn't respond with an apology to what I had experienced.
