Every time my father has an appointment at this eye clinic, we end up waiting a very long time to see the doctor. He uses a wheelchair and always has a scheduled appointment, but we still have to wait. Each visit takes about two hours from start to finish for a simple check-up. We are often told that they are very busy and have many patients, but appointments should be scheduled in a way that patients don’t have to wait this long. My elderly 88-year-old mother is a patient at this clinic who we routinely take for appointments. Lately her mobility has been declining and it’s been difficult bringing her to appointments. After doing some ordered labs, We called the office three times to ask if our follow up appointment regarding our labs can be done via telephone.
