I had a great intake experience here with Dr. Cheng and Dr. Liu. They were very patient and thorough while we worked through taking my very high prescription which didn't match my current glasses. I will be moving before I could do the follow-up appointments, so I ultimately didn't go forward with the surgery but if I was staying in the neighborhood I would have felt like I was in very good hands. The other office staff were great as well.

I had recent cataract surgery with a Light Adjustable Lens. My eye has previously had a DMEK corneal transplant and so I am very cautious. I am very happy that Dr. Margaret Liu agreed to do the surgery. I've had a great experience with the SF Eye Institute, and feel fortunate to be a patient of Dr Liu, and Dr. Cheng's team. They are kind and have taken the time to explain procedures and possible outcomes with me.

this was my first visit to a new doc replacing my regular eye doc who has since retired. At first I wasn’t sure of the visit but after meeting h her and seeing how caring and thorough she was in getting to know me, I am well pleased and grateful for her service. There is something comforting about seeing new docs who actually take the to know you and want the information for themselves. Bravo to Dr swift for leaving his practice in such capable hands. God blessed and feeling good about this transition. The staff is always on point. Thank you!

Helena is a wonderful doctor: smart, focused, kind-hearted, practical, and client-oriented. She has done a terrific job for Christina and me over many years. We are blessed to know and work with her.

Dr Choi was terrific - Despite her busy schedule she took time to answer all my questions and explain what I could expect next in the healing of my eye trouble. She even recommended and arranged for an appointment with a local retina specialist - something I’ve been planning to do for some time but just hadn’t gotten around to. Her whole team was excellent. High marks all around.
