I highly recommend Dr. Jacobs for cataract surgery. Just went in for my 2 yr check and my eyesight 20/20 plus I chose the type of surgery so I don’t even need reading glasses anymore either. I have a few minor floaters I notice when I drive, but I knew the risks and well worth a few occasional floaters. I had them prior to the surgery. I feel so confident having him as my doctor. He’s also is so kind and has many great reviews other than mine. Highly recommend him.

Unfortunately, I had a very unhelpful first visit today. I have been experiencing pain and dryness in my eyes for months. Recently it's been unbearable so I made an appointment to find out more. I walked out of the office today with no clear answers or explanation. I was not given a diagnosis and asked the doctor several times his clinical impression/what was causing my symptoms without a clear answer. The eye exam felt cursory -I was hoping to clarify if I had MGD from my visit, if my meibomiam glands were blocked or damaged. They were not looked ...

I debated whether to post this review, but I think others deserve to know in case they have a similar experience. On March 4, 2026, I had an appointment with Dr. Jonathan Volkin for a routine yearly eye exam. When he asked why I was there and I told him it was a standard annual exam, his demeanor shifted; As if he was either disappointed or uncertain how to proceed from that point forward. From the receptionist to the technicians to the doctor it was a pleasant experience. Bindu the receptionist Cody technician and Jackie and Deanna and Dr.Okafor completely thorough competent and professional. I look forward to my next appointment and will keep you informed. Dr. Lipscomb was very thorough and informative. I would give 5 stars except the scheduling for follow up to try the contacts has been difficult. There was only one appointment available each week. I was told there is usually a 6-month wait to see some doctors and that seems extreme. Dr. Lipscomb recommended I try the contacts for a month and then, if they don’t seem to be working, contact him to try a different type of lens. With the potential wait time of 6 months, I am not sure how that is going to work.
