Rand Eye Institute

This establishment over books for sure. Like, that is actually an understatement. But why is the real question. They have plenty of clientele that seem to be regulars. I'm sure they would take whatever appt was available. Plan to be here for at least 3 hours, because you're most likely going to wait for 1 hour before being called back. Anyway there are 3 stories. I have trusted my eyes to Dr. Rand and his family of opthalmologists for many years. Their expertise and professionalism is the best in the area. The one aspect about their practice where they fail, however is there seems to be little value shown for the customer's time. Their waiting room is often filled and my wait time is always more than two hours, sometimes many hours. I get shuffled from the waiting room to the examing room only to wait longer. Sometimes I get sent back to the waiting room for the next step to take olace. I always schedule ...

Rand eye is the best eye hospital there is! My experience there was seamless from the time I scheduled the appointment till the time I walked out the door. Dr. Allison Rand treated me like family and cared for me as I get very anxious before appointments! They also treat my grandmother who is forever grateful to them❤️never look forward to doctors appointments, but I will look forward to seeing them whenever necessary and for my annual check ups!!

My doctor urged me to be seen by an ophthalmologist as soon as possible.. He recommended Rand eye Institute, I called to make sure they took my insurance. The staff was basic.. to a bunch of back-and-forth just to find out if they took my insurance.. after calling to the right department, they verified and confirmed that they did indeed took my insurance.. but then told me that as soon as they could see me as an emergency visit was Thursday.. Rand eye is top notch. The team always goes above and beyond to accommodate. Dr. Allison is very thorough and knowledgeable. When I have any eye related issues I always seek advice from the medical professionals at Rand eye - and I advise all my friends to go there too!
