My appointment at Gulf South was probably the best I ever had mainly because of the excellent service provided by Emily to start with and then with Dr Elumelu. Both showed patience and detail to my entire visit. Thank you both for the best eye exam I have had in 50+ years!!
Dr Goff did my cataract surgery recently and it was a wonderful experience. I chose the laser cataract and the process was so easy and I had no side effects! I now see 20/20 when I was blind as a bat! Dr. Goff took his time to explain all my options and the outcome was fantastic! Thank you Dr Goff!
I arrived early as a new patient to fill out paperwork. I still ended up waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. The techs were kind, but I was passed around from tech to tech with a great amount of waiting in between. The moment I knew this was a place I never needed to return to, was when Dr. Kennedy insisted that Hydrochlorothiazide was a second line of treatment for idiopathic intracranial hypertension(IIH) and not Topiramate as if he was the only person in the room that had ever read medical research. This office overbooks to maximize profits while showing no regard for patients' time. Arrived 15 minutes early, the waiting room was full. Waited 45 minutes before being called back. After entering the exam room, waited another 20 minutes to see the doctor. Entire exam took 8 minutes. No apology for the wait. Two women working the front desk were unfriendly. Felt treated like cattle
There are truly not enough great words and synonyms to those words to relay to you how GREAT Dr Kennedy and his staff are! They waited on my daughter a new patient might I add on a Friday evening. Their sincere attention to her had me in tears. Dr Kennedy was very detailed with her care and provided clear next steps. My daughter is in great hands!
