Went into the ED early Saturday morning. Staff was kind and took care of my issue rapidly. Nurse Michelle was friendly and efficient at triage. Had an appointment with Dr ABdul Aziz and had a follow up question and was swiftly dismissed. My question was about something that was discussed at my decent appointment. Very irresponsible and unprofessional of the people she has fielding her emails. I've been followed at MEEI for the last couple years due to chronic ear issues. My experience has been spectacular across the board. Both my trips to the ED were incredibly simple. Short waits, friendly staff, incredibly prompt nurses. My luck with ED providers has also been nothing short of spectacular. Dr. David and NP Alexa were the ones I've seen in the ED and both were fantastic. For surgical purposes and follow up I've been seen by Dr. Jung in Otology who is equally great. I came to the Mass Eye and Ear Emergency Department in a lot of pain and anxiety, not knowing what was wrong with my eye. Despite a long wait, seeing Dr. Michael Berry made it completely worth it. He was incredibly attentive, thorough, and kind - the kind of doctor who makes you feel truly cared for, not just seen. He took the time to examine me carefully, explained everything clearly, and his calm, gentle manner instantly put me at ease. Dr. Berry is a rare gem. I left feeling reassured and well taken care of.
