If you want a caring, concerned, compassionate ophthalmologist who works in an efficient, well run office, Dr. Jack Abrams at Wellish Abrahms Vision Institute is NOT for you. I was contacted by the office ( I did not contact them) to make an appointment for my yearly eye exam, which I did. In the exam room, Dr. Abrams said my yearly exam was not until August ( this was March). With a very smug, cavalier attitude, Dr. Abrams said he could go with the exam but Medicare would not cover it. I left and immediately contacted the office manager. Laura Cuevas, ...
The doctor and staff are very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. The environment along with the professional courtesies make me feel welcomed and cared about. I'm really pleased with the service I have received at Wellish Abrams.
I recently went for an appointment at a local clinic, and I must say, the experience was quite disappointing. The waiting time was incredibly long, which was frustrating. Additionally, the office itself was noticeably dirty, with dust visible in every corner. It seemed as though the maintenance was lacking, which is quite concerning. I hope the management takes steps to improve the overall experience for their patients.
Dr. Wellish and his team made me feel comfortable, they listened to me and took the time to make sure I’m getting the best care as I head toward cataract surgeries on both of my eyes. Thank you!
Sat in crowded waiting room for almost 90 minutes past my appointment time, then went in and got eye drops from nurse, and had to wait so long to see the actual doctor that they had to give me the same numbing drops again twice. Why not just give me the numbing drops when the doctor is actually ready to see me? Seems poorly run to give a patient the same eye drops twice because the doctors are not ready to see them yet.
As always , this office runs perfectly. Check in is easy. All technicians are well skilled in testing eyes. Doctor Kostanyan is brilliant. Follow up appointment easily made. Total time: one hour well spent. Perfect execution of entire procedure. Thank you!
