We recently met Dr.Spencer through a referral for a cataract surgery for our 11 year old. I will say personally Dr. Spencer is amazing! He takes his craft very seriously which is hard to find these days. One thing I will say about Dr. Spencer is that he is very soft spoken and amazing with children. A lot of people take him as rude or having no bedside manner but that's actually not the case. He is just very straight to the point and relaxed. I absolutely recommend Koala Eye Center. Dr.Spencer is incredibly thoughtful and very, very thorough in his examination. He then plainly explains the diagnosis and treatment plan. My double vision was resolved through surgery. Dr.Spencer clearly described what the surgery would entail, and surgical follow up was excellent. Dr. Spencer also saw my husband. My daughter has been a patient at Koala Eye center since she was 7 and is 13 now her eyes have improved the doctor is great always doubles checks and makes sure the eye test are done carefully. I definitely recommend this eye center. We can purchase the prescription glasses right next door literally it’s the next room to the eye center it’s all in the same building.
My 3 year old has been a patient for two years now and he's just done her eye surgery. He is calm and steady in the face of mom hysteria through a scary experience. My daughter loves the toys in the office and the ladies up front are always upbeat and have an amazing happy energy. Dr. Spencer makes the exam feel like play to her. I couldn't imagine taking my kids anywhere else.
Me and my son had a great experience with Dr Spencer! He gets right to the point which i love bc that’s the person i am as well he was very knowledgeable and willing to answer my random equations even the ones i left on vm regarding my som he always called back to ensure i was taken care of, down to the eye strabismus surgery for my son he did an amazing job with keeping me informed to call my nerves and with follow up!
