TLDR: PRK surgery worked wonders and wish I did it years ago. Dr. Kinariwala was amazing! After my wife’s successful LASIK surgery a few years ago, also done at Porter Ophthalmology, I started to consider doing it as well. There was no where else I even considered because of the amazing work they did for my wife. My experience was just as good or even better than my wife’s experience. I had an amazing LASIK experience at Porter Ophthalmology! From the initial consultation to the follow-up appointment, the process was smooth and painless. The price of my procedure was reasonable, but financing options are available. The doctors and assistants are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Communication from the office is frequent and clear. I highly recommend Porter Ophthalmology if you’re considering LASIK!
I had a wonderful, painless experience getting the SMILE procedure here! Dr. Porter and Dr. Kinariwala talked me through the entire process, which kept me completely at ease. TL;DR: this team, especially Dr. Porter, are awesome in all aspects of modern vision correction. I had RK done in 1994, so I wasn't sure about having another operation. I’m one week out from my SMILE procedure and wow do wish I had done it sooner! Recovery has been easy with minimal discomfort, no burning or itching, and waking up able to see clearly still feels unreal. Dr. Kinariwala was exceptional from consultation through my post-op.
