I was very satisfied with my experience with Cataract &Laser Institute. All staff was great. From the moment I arrived until for me to be discharged. And what I can I say concerning the doctor. She's the best. I have nevered had a bad experience with anyone.. And this is in every department. This is how great it really was. I was asking tdo they do the routine eye care and exams. . Great experience all around the staff was kind and friendly. Very knowledgeable and explained things in a way I could understanding. Dr Swain was very sweet and knowledgeable. Explained my options and explained what choices were the best for me. The optical shop has some really cute and fashionable choices for eyewear.
I had two cataract surgeries a week apart. They went very well. My problem is after. I could see far but needed glasses. I had no problem seeing up close. The problem is now I can't see far or up close. I see everything midrange. That is not what I wanted. My second complaint is they told me what I would need to pay upfront before surgery. I paid every dime! I had the surgery! Now they are coming after me for 345 dollars. I paid what I was supposed to. They won't get a dime more from me! Not to mention you have a 8am appointment but so does 10 other ...
Had a very good pre-op meeting with Dr Mane and the staff! Less than 5 minutes waiting for appointment, Nurse Lori went thru all the tests with me (while we talked about tomato/cucumber planting). 😊 Dr Mane explained my options completely, and answered a couple questions, (do cataracts come back after removal). Really good experience at this visit! 👍👍
Very nervous about the whole experience until I got to the office and met the people that work there. The front desk people put me at ease right away. The techs and the Dr were wonderful and I was very comfortable with all of them.
