Well received in a prompt and friendly way at reception. All those who provided pre-exam eye test procedures were professional, friendly, and efficient. My eye doctor, Leighan R. Monroe, O.D. is personable, knowledged, professional and willing to answer my questions in an easy and accessible manner. The optical technician, Lilly is friendly, helpful and very good at working with the customer to help them meet their eyewear needs. Overall great experience every time I go to Midwest Eye Consultants in Maumee!

I have been going to this office for a few years now. I highly recommend that someone try this office. Staff is courteous and friendly. I always feel that my concerns are addressed. Dr. Monroe is really great. I feel like I'm in good hands here.

during my last visit the doctor walked into the room, didn’t greet me or introduce herself. then she proceeded to try to touch my face/eyes after being on the computer, touching both doorknobs to open & close the door, and touching drawer handles/items. she then gave me steriod eye drops for “dry eye relief” and instructed me to use them multiple times a week. this ended up increasing my eye pressure & causing horrific migraines & making my sight blurry/sensitive. i haven’t went back since as it seems the doctor doesn’t know what she’s doing. been a patient here for a few years, good experiences with doctors. scheduling can be rather interesting for them as it seems to go through a larger agency. the older woman receptionist with grey hair can be quite unpleasant and harsh towards patients in initial insurance intake. ultimately helpful, but seems to bark and speak harshly for a simple 3-minute interaction. i hope she is doing okay!

I had an excellent experience here today. I was having an eye issue and they worked me in that day, on a Friday afternoon. Everyone at the Maumee location was very nice from the front desk staff to the nurse (wish I could remember her name-she was fantastic and very friendly) and the doctor, as well as my check out procedure. Had a accident and my reading glasses ended up got wacked into my eye which caused a blood vessel to break. My normally eye doctor was closed and pcp was closed just happened to call Midwest eye Consultant by my house they couldn't get me in but arranged for me to get squeezed in to there other location in Oregon within the hour.
