Today is the day everyone needs to stop going to sylvester. Carl sylvester sold to a private equity group and have refused to schedule any nurses in the back. Dr Mayes is leaving to start her own practice. One with nurses and front desk staff to answer the phone. Sylvester eye care is a joke now

The entire practice is wonderful but Dr. Lisa Mayes is awesome! Very thorough and takes the time to explain your eye health needs! *Update* The staff has changed apparently and after trying to check in for an appointment it was such a weird experience I left.

I would not recommend them if you value your time. Surely if you sit in a room waiting for over an hour someone might update you or start telling other folks that are checking in (there were 12 behind me) that they are running behind but nothing. I can understand some days you can be short staffed, I can understand things can become delayed but as a common courtesy please let those who you are serving know. It's an absolute disrespect to not know. Once I had sat for an hour waiting I asked how much longer approximately and how much time my lasik consult ...
