My first visit for a cataract evaluation was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and everyone explained the tests they were doing on me. I had Lasik surgery many years ago and also have macular degeneration in my eyes so I had to have additional testing. They all had a positive attitude and made me feel comfortable.. I saw Dr Vestal after all the tests and he explained the cataract procedure. I look forward to my surgery.
My dr. Was through she took time to listen and explain she answered my questions and I didn't feel rushed at all. I felt very comfortable. And the other two ladies were very nice to me and took their time . I dont know their names but they should get a raise !!! Just saying lol! I will go back again and be alot more easier now that I know they are all very kind and do good work . Thanks guys
My husband's appointment went overall pretty smoothly. We did have to wait almost an hour before they called him back. 🤷♀️ That certainly could have been better or at least call him up to the counter and explain they were running late. But they didn't. So 10 out of 10......8
My family has been taken care of by MECA for a number of years. Their personal attention to details and their reviewing of charts gives me confidence of their professionalism. Dr. Freeman and staff are compassionate and have ministered to me and my family’s eye health for many years. I trust them completely.
While they are extremely busy, there is a reason. MECA is made up of outstanding and professional staff headed by Dr. Freeman. I highly reccomend MECA and Dr. Freeman should you need expert and professional eye care.
Because I was sick, I tried to cancel an appointment the day before. Backstory is I have been a patient at MECA for 20 years, most of it with Dr. John Freeman. So many appointments through the years I'm. When he retired I was shuttled to Dr. James. Anyway, because I cancelled 23 hours and 30 minutes before my appointment they wanted me to pay a $25 fee. Ridiculous! They have lost a long-term patient. I'll find care elsewhere.
