Everyone I dealt with was friendly, courteous, caring, & efficient. Dr. Ryg was quick, informative, & pleasant as always. He is an excellent surgeon & my eye is as good as it was right after my life-changing surgery 4 yrs ago. Fully confident that my next procedure will bring an equally positive result.

Great customer service. They have always been a great eye care provider. My recent appointment took a bit longer than my other appointments. Total time in the facility was about 2 hours, which included longer wait times in between check in procedures. Dr. Ryg is excellent. Very happy with the care he provides.

EPA staff and physicians are all top notch. They’re caring, helpful and stand behind their work. I recently had an issue with the lenses in my glasses and they replaced them without me even asking. The optical department staff is so well trained in their craft and they really go above and beyond. Eric at the front desk is extremely kind, patient and knowledgeable. For over a decade I have been a patient with Eye Physicians of Austin, first with Dr. Plunkett and now with Dr. Jack Li. The practice appears to always have the most modern equipment. They have built a team of technicians that handle the patient workups for the doctors. Everything says they know what they are doing. I’ve always felt the doctors and their teams exude confidence that I am getting state of the art eye care.

I had been waiting over a month for this appointment. Although I was already hesitant due to past experiences of excessive wait times in the office, I still kept it. Upon checking in, I was immediately presented with a "Financial Policy & Notice of Privacy Practices" form. The staff member informed me that I would be financially responsible for paying in full for any services insurance did not cover. I had my fourth-year annual follow-up with Dr. Peter Ryg after cataract surgery, and the visit was excellent. The vision exam was thorough and efficient, intraocular pressure, and retinal checks were all performed, and Dr. Ryg clearly explained the findings. In spite of the eye dryness my vision remains stable and I received personalized advice for ongoing eye care and monitoring. Staff were friendly and appointments ran on time. I appreciate the continuity of care and would recommend Dr. Peter Ryg for cataract surgery and long-term post-op management.
