In the past, I always waited awhile for my appointment. This time I hardly got 5 pages of my novel read and that included the waiting room after my dilation. Everyone was very friendly and courteous.
First time here on recommendation of retired Dr Blumenfeld,all staff members were very professional,friendly, polite and very courteous. My new Dr Serrano was very attentive and informative to my needs and questions. Whole appointment process was in adequate time.
I had my cataract surgery last week & it went so smoothly. Great staff, who are very caring & knowledgeable. Dr. Tafoya is awesome & really takes time with his patient's!!

Got an appointment scheduled for 3/12/2026 @9:00am. Arrived to the Common facility 1/2 hr earlier just to be notified that the Dr they assigned to see me was not coming. If patient doesn’t show up they charge you a fee unless you cancel 24 hrs in advance. But if Dr doesn’t show up, you just waste your time and they don’t care at all.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re even thinking about LASIK, do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation with Southwest Eye Institute. I honestly can’t recommend them enough. A few years ago, I stopped by to learn more about the procedure, but I wasn’t quite ready. Vero at the front desk never gave up on me. She would check in every few months, not in a pushy way, just genuinely following up. When I was finally ready in December 2025, she welcomed me back like no time had passed.
