Evergreen Eye Center

I’ve been to Evergreen Eye Center before, but this was my first visit to the Burien location since moving to Tukwila. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. There is plenty of free street parking, which made the visit very convenient. The front desk staff checked me in right away, and after completing a few questionnaires, I was quickly called in for my exam. The office was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Very happy with my first visit to Evergreen Eye Center in Burien. The reception was good, the young lady, Gloria I believe, was very personable and knowledgeable in doing various tests, and I felt very comforable with Dr. Chung and trust his expertice. I will continue to be followed for my eye care there.

I have been a patient here for several years thru cataracts, laser surgery, diabetic, glaucoma exams and procedures. Unfortunately I have to leave their care as I am moving north of the city. They have already sent the referral forward to a new clinic Evergreen has been fantastic in their care and I will miss all the doctors. I highly recommend Evergreen Clinic.

I had my second cataract eye surgery done in Federal Way this week, again by Dr. Frenkel, who is very personable and a great surgeon. This review relates to my post-operation appointment at the Burien clinic. The staff are very friendly and Dr. Matejczyk saw me for both my post surgery visits. I’ve had two eye surgeries with Evergreen in the past month and I appreciate being able to do my post-op appointments in Burien, rather than the much longer drive to Federal Way, which is a pain. This was my first time visiting the clinic. The experience was great. Everyone was super friendly, the atmosphere was clean & inviting. My doctor was super nice & made me feel like I was visiting a friend. We laughed as she explained what was going on with my eyes. I highly recommend this clinic.

I was referred to the Seattle office of Evergreen Eye Center by my regular eye doctor for cataract surgery with assurances that Dr. Whitehead was "one of the best in town". I had read other reviews that were pretty negative, from long wait times to rude staff, poor work, and condescending attitude.
