Northwest Eye Surgeons

Dr. Bannit is excellent - competent and caring! Have been seeing him for over 10 years now and he is excellent. But NW Eye Surgeons are terrible for staying on time - a 7:50AM appointment, don’t get taken back with tech until 8:15AM and didn’t see doctor till 9:10AM! Staff don’t seem to care. Very disappointing. Fortunately, I will put up with delays to receive care from Dr. Bannitt!

I want to give NW Eyes a 5 star glowing review. The doctors and nurses are beyond the best. 125% service. Communicating with the staff, though, is variable to the point of frustration. Offices closed during open hours, late or absent responses to refills, failure to return calls, failure to reply to pharmacies... you name it we've had it. It's one of the great mysteries, along with the origin of the universe, how such a great surgical staff is represented by this front office.

I had a frustrating phone experience with Northwest Eye Surgeons. When I called, I was given the option to stay on hold for about 10 minutes or receive a callback, so I chose the callback option to save time. When they called me back, instead of connecting me to someone who could help, I was placed into a promotional/advertising message that continued for more than 4 minutes. At that point, I ended the call because I did not want to continue wasting my time. A callback system should make the process easier for patients, not make them wait and then play ...

Okay, this is a looooong due review. I had my surgery in 2022, just about 4 years ago. My surgeon was Dr. Banitt. He was one of the 3 surgeons that I consulted in the greater Seattle area, and the only one who actually engaged closely with my questions and even had follow up back and forth emails with. Once I gathered all the info, I decided to have contoura PRK surgery. After the surgery, the care was 10 out of 10. Highly recommended for professionalism, kindness, and absolute excellence. Northwest Eye Surgeons stood out from the rest. The wonderful team took utmost care to ensure I was a healthy candidate and unbiasedly explained the available eye correction technology. The team's attention to detail, dedication, expertise, and genuine friendliness kept me at ease through the entire process. Now I have perfect vision!

The surgery staff are amazing...professional, taking the time to answer questions. The admin part..calling in with questions or needing to pay needs to improve. It seems as if the person who answers has to transfer and leave a message with the correct person. This is frustrating to have to await a return call and potentially have to miss that call. For the 1st surgery, I needed to pay as I am the POA for financial/medical. Because I was not taking John to surgery, I had to pay prior to his,arrival.
