The Eye Centers of Racine & Kenosha

I strongly encourage anyone considering this practice to look elsewhere. Despite having the first appointment of the day, I was forced to wait well over two hours before being seen. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident - it seems to be a direct result of chronic overbooking and poor office management. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional, making an already frustrating experience even worse. Adding to the problem, no one ever answers the phone. My experience @ the Eye Center was very professional & overwhelming. I would definitely recommend this to my friends & others. Everyone made me feel comfortable throughout my surgery. Looking forward to seeing the staff for my second surgery. Thanks so much for your care and support.

I'm new to this area, first time going here. Reading past reviews makes me think they have new hires because the staff was not welcoming or engaging at all. I don't think one person smiled! I felt like it was like an assembly line. The staff who did the eye exams and dialation were very impersonal. Once I actually saw the Dr, she was pleasant. The check out person was again not personable. She almost seemed irritated. I just think in a service driven industry, the level of care is important but also how you treat people is important.

I would not choose this practice again. I paid approximately $6,000 extra for premium cataract lenses with the expectation that I would only need reading glasses after surgery. Unfortunately, I still need glasses for driving and watching TV. For several months I have been asking for an explanation and possible solutions. At my June 8 appointment, I was told the doctor would discuss my case with the surgeon and get back to me. As of July 3, I have received no response. My experiences at the Eye Centers of Racine & Kenosha have been great over the last two years. My first optometrist was great and I was given another one who is just as great. Both were very pleasant and personable. Support staff has always been welcoming too.
