Have been a patient of Dr. Kaufers for many years and have recommended him to many family and friends. He is not only a superb ophthalmologist but also a fine gentleman and decent (and interesting) human being. His staff is also excellent as well.
Dr. Kaufer is a terrific doctor and a great guy. Been seeing him for years. Once saw me at 6am when I had a tough problem as I am blind in one eye. Did my cataracts. Very nice staff. Ask him about sky-surfing…😊
Beginning with calling to making an appointment, reception and back office staff were all courteous, friendly and most of all efficient! Dr. Swanson was quite thorough and did a thorough eye exam along with addressing my issues. He took his time and patiently answered all my questions without my feeling rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Swanson and his staff for any eye issues.
Dr. Kaufer is extremely knowledgeable about all possible scenarios regarding patient eye care In addition, his staff is very professional and thorough. They are always willing to check each patient’s insurance coverage ensuring we utilize all the benefits available to us prior to our visit.
I have been a patient at Tucson Eye Physicians at least 20 years. My father was a patient with Dr. Kaufer for a long time. He passed in 2017. At the time there were two doctors, they were partners (I can’t remember the other doctors name). I had him for a few years and he decided to retire, so then it was Dr. Kaufer by himself. Dr. Peter Kaufer is a fantastic Eye doctor He has taken good care of me. I had cataract surgery. I was a little younger to have it, but he saw something in my eyes that I needed it.
