Zero stars. Can we please hire professional people at the front desk? The front desk woman (she has long green nails), I believe her name is Natasha was extremely rude and aggressive towards me. She asked for my insurance card and I showed her it on my phone, to which she rudely yelled at me that she needs a physical card. My insurance company emailed me a digital card this year, no physical card. I wasn't informed when I made my appointment that I needed a physical insurance card. The Jacksonville eye center is a great place to get any treatment you need for your eyes they do a great job and are very patient. Dr schnipper is the top ophthalmologist in Jacksonville and he always takes care of me. Everyone in the office is so nice and whatever needs to be done they take care of. So if you need just a regular eye exam or you need cataract surgery or whatever it is they can take care of you there at the Jacksonville eye center.

Very disappointing experience. Before scheduling my appointment, I went to the office in person and showed the receptionist the exact Florida exemption form I needed completed. I explained that I had already undergone eye surgery and a complete eye examination in Colombia, just two months earlier, so I did not need another full eye exam. My only reason for the appointment was to have a Florida-licensed doctor review my records and sign the form. Everyone of this establishment is absolutely amazing! I am so appreciative of the diligent care that they have given my mom during her cataract surgery! I would recommend them five stars to anyone.

My appt time was set for 1:55 with an arrival time of 1:25pm. I arrived at 1:20pm. I was called to the back a little after 3pm. Some form of communication of the delay with an offer to reschedule if needed would’ve been nice at the time of check in. After the initial history and eye checks, I was asked to wait in another area for 30 minutes. Once I saw the doctor and he determined what was going on, he played an educational video about my diagnosis. He left mid sentence while explaining the treatment plan.
