My experience at the Whiting Clinic from start to finish was incredible. Everyone I interacted with made me feel at ease, and had answers to all my questions. The procedure itself took just minutes (I had the standard Lasik procedure) and I now have 20/15 vision! Truly a life changing experience, and I thank the everyone involved for their professionalism and guidance. I absolutely recommend the Whiting Clinic if you are even somewhat interested in this surgery.
I had my original surgery about twelve years ago with Dr. Whiting, and it was an incredible experience, including excellent care, outstanding customer service, and I truly felt taken care of. At the time, I was explicitly guaranteed a lifetime enhancement if a correction was ever needed. Recently, my vision has declined and I’m wearing glasses again, so I called to schedule my enhancement. I LOVED my experience at the Whiting Clinic. I was nervous for my procedure, but the doctor kept me so distracted I barely knew anything was happening. It was super quick, and I’m currently 4 days out and seeing perfectly. I’m so happy I chose to do it. Thank you all so much!!
Echoing all the other complaints that the clinic isn't honoring the lifetime guarantee from Dr. Whiting any longer. Was it too good to be true? Probably, but it's an empty promise they're still making and will probably be under "new ownership" again in the future to void the lifetime guarantees of current clients.
It's been over 3 years and I don't know if I would do it again. Getting it done I felt like cattle just being brought through the machine it was so impersonal and fast. Frankly, I'm surprised by myself how little I looked into the side effects. Luckily I had a normal recovery EXCEPT for my nighr vision. I type this after turning over the keys on a road trip as my night vision is uncomfortably poor go drive at night with the starburst lights from headlights that are significantly worse than it was before the surgery.
