OCLI Vision Williamsville (Ophthalmology Associates of Western New York)

My main complaint for this practice is the wait time. I had a 6 month follow up appointment at 8:30 am. I did not leave the building until 11,20 am. Almost a 3 hour office visit for a quick 6 month follow up. I feel the wait time is unreasonable and disrespectful of everyone’s time. Every appointment I have had with them is a wait time of about 3 hours and some appointments even longer. I decided today that I would finally speak up and say something. My mother and I started going to Dr. Niles years ago for our glaucoma care because he was referred as a wonderful, knowledgable and helpful doctor in this field, and he was. He has since retired and the office is not the same. We intentionally schedule our appointments to be the 1st in the morning 7:45 and 8:00am. I am cancelling my next appointment. This office has gone down hill since Dr. Niles left. One appointment they forgot to unlocked the front door so patients could get in, the next appointment, the person was late so I was kept waiting. Today my husband had a 9:30 appointment and was there for four hours. Are you kidding me. This along with incorrect billing. I don't think so.

I had a stye that wouldn't go away for several months no matter what I tried. Came here to have it checked out by an ophthalmologist. I specificly stated that I did not need my vision examined, as I had that done a few months prior. I was taken to an exam room & given eye drops, then left in the waiting room for almost an hour before the ophthalmologist saw me. If I could give them zero stars, I would. The staff is friendly, but the customer service is crazy. I had a test done in APRIL!! I've called at least 5X to have them faxed to the surgeon. I am placed on hold to a service who will then reach out to the office and have them faxed. Nope!! Now going on a month and the dr. still hasn't received the results. So frustrated. I guess I have to go there personally to do something that should have been easy!!!
