Daynes Eye & Lasik

I went to Dr. Daynes because he’s an ophthalmologist and i’ve been having trouble with my eyes so I wanted to see a specialist who goes more in depth. This has been the worse experience i’ve ever had at any eye doctor. I went in for an annual exam so I used my insurance. I wish I went somewhere else because I feel like this was just a quick in and out to take my money. I saw the doctor for literally 2 minutes. UPDATING 5/16: CHANGING TO 4 STARS. Office Staff ordered me a new pair free of charge. She personally apologized and took responsibility for the lost/not ordered glasses. Dr Daynes and the appointment went great. My issue is with the Office Staff and ordering glasses. I ordered glasses at my appointment on Jan 31. I have yet to receive them. I have called the office multiple times and even went in. Eye doctor did great with my eye exam. I just didn't like how the receptionist was pushy with sales and upgrades for my lenses. I was in need of a new pair of glasses as I didn't have a spare so I requested to expedite shipping. The lady lied about expediting my shipping and never called me that it was delivered. I called 2 times in different days in their normal business hours and left a message but never got a callback. I waited 15 days since the exam, and just walked in to see what was going on. Everyone at Daynes Eye and Lasik was very friendly with the exception of Joy at the front desk. I know, ironic. We went there for several years with my kids. Joy usually seemed annoyed and inconvenienced by us. My kids even noticed her bad attitude. We usually had to wait several weeks for the glasses to come in. One time it was 2 months.

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this was definitely the strangest eye doctor experience I have had. Staff was needlessly rude besides Barbara at the front desk, Dr. Daynes was hard to understand and would talk over me. Very strange and frustrating experience. I ended up having to go in three different times to get the correct contact prescription and I'm still not seeing well.
