From the time I arrived to the time I left, I was greeted by such friendly and caring people. I was so relaxed the entire time I was there. I have to admit I did a lot of laughing. Everything was explained, the followup was amazing to make sure all was good. That had to be one of the quickest surgeries I have ever had. If surgeries can be enjoyable, this one for my cataract was the best.
Dr. Bretz is amazing! As a medical provider myself, I'm envious of how smoothly the entire clinic runs, not to mention the surgical staff. Everyone is so friendly and caring. They have success figured out!❤️
No one wants to get surgery on your eyes, but if you need it, there is no better place to go. Matt, Eddie and Dr Passi were so great during the process. The nurse to ( sorry, I don't recall her name). They were all concerned I was comfortable as possible during the process. I didn't realize my vision had been so reduced by my cataracts. I am amazed that I can see so much better after just a day. Thank you to everyone at the Eye Institute of Utah.
Just finished having cataract surgery on both eyes a week apart. Quite the experience; there are not enough adjectives to describe it! After taking nothing before the first surgery, decided to go with a little valium and it helped greatly. Dr Passi is a very skilled and compassionate person who communicates well. He listened to me and we jointly decided to go with a monofocal lens in one eye and a toric lens (extra cost$$) for the other eye with astigmatism. Pre op, we both knew that I'd need reading glasses for close up, which didn't bother me. ...
Terrific staff, From my 1st call..Lexi helping me get in to see a Doctor right away.. To Billing. Hanna confirming what my insurance will cover, she explained it to me even better than my insurance company did. The exam went very well and pain free. Things were explained to me so I could understand what to expect. The procedure.. The doctor was great, explained why I would benefit from this. He was very patient with my nervousness. Yes i wold and do recommend "The Eye Institute of Utah" to anyone needing.
Wonderful! Seems they are crossing their T’s and dotting their “eyes” at this place. Most thorough evaluation I’ve had. And when I finally met with the surgeon he was great as well and answered all my questions/concerns. Left me with confidence!
