Dr. Ahmed and fellows took the time to run several tests and took multiple pictures my eyes to ensure that he would give me the best care and a positive outcome. They made me feel important and I was confident that my iris repair surgery would be successful and it was. My iris is now perfectly round and the glare is gone. My husband needed to be seen urgently, and we were incredibly grateful that they were able to accommodate us with a same-day appointment. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The building itself is absolutely gorgeous, easy to navigate, and has great, hassle-free parking. Check-in was a breeze, and every single person we encountered was wonderful and nice. Dang, I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my time and money as well. I did not have a good experience here. On the positive side, the techs are great and the equipment they have for testing seems top of the line. However, the doctor I was assigned to was not great. My experience with the exam process, surgery scheduling, and staff at the Moran Eye Center was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I felt that the doctor, anesthesiologist, and assisting staff demonstrated very poor bedside manner throughout my care. I was originally scheduled to have surgery on my second eye two weeks after the first procedure. However, my surgery was canceled without any notification from the scheduling department. Ana at the front desk was incredibly helpful in getting me into my appointment. I was about ten minutes late due to my plane arriving late from San Francisco, and without me even asking, she took the initiative to check with the doctor to see if he could still fit me in. That kind of thoughtfulness and effort truly stood out. Thank you, Ana, for your understanding and for going the extra mile. This is the kind of human touch we need more of in the world.

The entire staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. But the woman that initially took me back and conducted the pre-exam was fantastic. She really made me feel special. She listened closely to my concerns and complaints, and made me feel like there might be some hope ahead.
